In this time of climate change, McCain understands that US must take action. He knows that we cannot jump into a green house gas free world right away. He believes in green advances only in scientifically safe areas of advancing technology. He also says that these advances for the environment should not cost too much, but be effective. He believes climate policy must spur the development and deployment of advanced technology. These efforts must be international. That is his basic policy on climate change. John McCain strongly believes in Nuclear Energy. He thinks that it is “part of the equation” for a strong and environmental country. France is 80% run by nuclear power. While some may cringe at the thought of a nation with nuclear energy, the US already has many and they are now safer than ever before. Nuclear power may be the key to a green country.

Whatever Mccain feels it doesn’t matter now. 11:00 OBAMA WINNS. no disrespect you did a good job researching.
Yes France runs on 80% nuclear, however, they are in a mess for they rely on nuclear and can never get away from it now. Nuclear energy is expensive and time consuming and we need to find cheaper sources of alternative energy.
I think you have written a very well thought out opinion. You use many examples to make a strong argument. Even though I disagree with you, you still made a very good point.
Even though I like Obama more than McCain, you bring up good ideas and I like the way you described the importance of nuclear energy. Good job, Remy.
The massive amounts of electricity it produces makes up for alot of the costs.
Wow, Remy nice job. You brought McCain’s best points. Even though I still disagree with you, both Jon McCain and Barack Obama are great men. Wouldn’t it be great if they would work together in government?
I believe that nuclear energy is a very good source of power that the U.S. can use, but there are some setbacks that few people know. First of all, nobody has figured out what to do with the radioactive waste from the reaction. Nuclear plants just pile them up outside in incredibbly durable safe-like concrete boxes. Exsesive waste may be a problem in the future that countries using nuclear energy will face. Another, little known limit on nuclear plants is that they need to be built near a water source that can be used to cool the reactor. Otherwise, the reaction will melt the entire building. But other than those problems, nuclear power is a great alternate source of energy.
