Throughout his long campaign, Barack Obama has pleaded to tax those who make more than $250,000 a year. Yet, is this the right move? Many conservatives believe that taxing the rich will result in fewer jobs and further hurt the economy. If corporate companies lose spending due to high taxes, they will be unable to use that money towards employment. Today, large businesses are constantly cutting staff because they can’t afford to keep them there. Nevertheless, this economic policy will give a tax break on the poor. It will give middle and lower class more money to spend on healthcare, food, mortgages, and daily life needs. You be the judge. Will his plan force businesses to raise the unemployment rate, or will it give those in need an opportunity to form a better credit? He will soon find out.

I think that Barack Obama’s plan is better than McCain’s. First of all, one if the fundamentals of a strong economy is that Americans buy products. The rich buying products isn’t enough. Our middle class isn’t big enough right know. Obama’s tax plan will help out the “Joe Six Pack” better than McCain’s plan to promote the wealth of the wealthy. Finally, Senator Obama’s tax plan does not include raising the wealthy’s taxes unfairly (only going up 2-5%). But since we are fighting two wars and have economic problems, the answer isn’t to contiue with the Bush Tax Cuts. We’ll fall deeper into to debt with “countries that don’t like us very much” like China, and Saudi Arabia. Right now, the sucess of our middle class can help save our economy from a looming depression.
No way, Obama wants to tax the rich and give that money to poor people on welfare who don’t work and just get money off of their kids. That sounds like socialism to me, but you be the judge of that.
Where do you get that from?! Because Senator Obama may or may not give the upperclass a income tax increase as President doesn’t mean he is anti-upperclass. Obama wants to strenghten the Middle Class and Lower Class by giving them some tax relief to help out our economy. Obama needs to raise the taxes a little on the upper-class to fund for the two wars and the countless programs the Bush Administration has left us with.
yeah and what do u think uneducated and poor people on welfare that dont have jobs and have kids for a living to get payed for them. wat do u think they are gonna do with the money. may b buy a huge watch and an expensive car. THATS NOT GONNA STRENGTHEN THE ECONOMY cause b4 u know it, those same people are gonna go poor again. and they are gonna need more money and the cycle starts over and then we go into deeper debt.
