I disagree with Obama’s tax plan. I do not believe that the upper class society should pay more taxes because they made 250,000 or more dollars per year. I understand that people who are making low wages need all of the money they can earn, but it does not mean fully cutting in half a person’s salary. Barack Obama is making a poor decision on this tax issue, because this will put the United States into an even worse recession. If he becomes president he will take away the hard earned money for which the upper class worked. Instead he is going to give money to people who have not gone to college and who work in a McDonald’s, making the minimum wage. The upper class should not be penalized for making more money; it should be a fair percentage of income across the board.

I agree with you. Obama shouldn’t be taking money from the people who are paying taxes and giving it to the people who don’t pay taxes, an then call it a tax cut. He shouldn’t be trying to “spread the wealth around”
Yeah but the lower class shouldn’t have to pay more taxes then the upper class. These taxes wont make the Upper Class the middle class. It should be a fair percentage of income for all classes. The rich will still be rich and the poor will still be poor. Whats wrong with giving money to the people who are less fortunate then us? Obama’s plan will help even out the system.
You are 100% right. This will probably have an effect on the economy, causing a chain reaction of people losing money. Obama, however, in the end might help a few people put.
I strongly disagree with you. Obama’s tax plan is substancially better than McCains. I think Obama’s plan will help this country get out of the dpression it is in now. McCain will only continue they depression.
Obama’s trying to help the country, not just he rich.

Our parents already lose half of their income due to the income, state, and federal taxes, plus others that I’ve probably never heard of. The people who earn money should keep what they earn.
First of all the statements you have said can be viewed as very offensive…
However, I agreee wtih you. Taxing the rich results in business losing money that goes to peoples’ wages. His tax plan will also raise unemployment because the business would be unable to give or be forced to cut jobs. Lastly, these companies are the engine to a successful economy. Lowering teh size of that engine would only hurt the economy more. Raising taxes on the rich is a bad idea
about 90% of america makes less then 250k…
so why should that 10% benefit the most??
For all of the people who think Obama will be unfair to the rich by rasing their income tax to a Jimmy Carter era percentage are dead wrong. Right now, the tax % for the upper class is somewhere around 35%. Under Obama’s tax plan, the upperclass will either not get a income tax cut or increase at all, or just a small tax increase (small meaning anywhere from 2-5%). And no, the answer to our economic problems isn’t to strenghten the upper class, it is to help the middle class. The middle class is too small at the moment. A strong middle class means more American made products will be bought and our economy will rise again. The gap between the classes has gotten too large under the Bush tax cuts, Obama is more suited to close that gap than McCain.
