Barack Obama, a democratic presidential candidate for the 2008 election has shown serious maturity in the past year. Even though Obama is the youngest presidential candidate, he is still a favorite to win the election. If he were to win the election he would be te first African-American president. He is not only incredibly bright, graduating from Columbia University and Harvard Law School, but he has past experience, being the senator of Illinois. He is the only African-American serving currently serving for the U.S. senate. If elected he emphasized ending the war in Iraq and implementing universal health care as campaign themes. Some people believe that Barack is far too young, and that he should have run the following term. Voice your opinion! Also who would you vote for in the upcoming election if you could vote?

This is really interesting! I supported Hillary Clinton for a while, but I think I’m going to begin supporting Obama (even though I can’t vote.)
I think he’s very well-spoken, and his ideas are very promising. I think it would be great if he and Hillary were to run side-by-side, (VP and President), it would be super sweet!

I’m not sure if Obama is the favorite anymore. I think Hillary has taken over the lead. What an interesting Election!
