Retro Studios has done it again! Femme fatale Samus Aran is back in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption for the Wii. This game marks the end of the Prime series of the Metroid games. The story revolves around the exploits of Samus as she travels the galaxy, ridding planets of Phazon corruption. For further information regarding the plot, check out the wikipedia article concerning it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metroid_Prime_3:_Corruption. I own this game, and I can honestly say that it is a true masterpiece. To start off, it has a revolutionary control interface. It would be a crime if every Wii first-person shooter after this didn’t have controls like this. It truly feels like you’re inside Samus’ suit! If the controls weren’t enough to get you to buy this game, then I know something that will. This game has easily the best graphics we’ve seen on Wii so far. You cannot mistake these graphics with the graphics the GameCube offers. Also in this game is the most beautiful level design and art that I have ever seen on any Nintendo console. Truly amazing job, Retro. If you don’t believe me, here are some screenshots* from IGN.com:
If you have a Wii, Metroid Prime 3 is a must! *These screenshots do not fully illustrate the beauty of this game’s art.

I absolutely love metroid. I started playing it with my 8-bit NES… only my atari space invaders is more old school!
