Earlier this month Phil Ball, a writer for ESPN said that he considered Lionel Messi, the right midfielder for Barcelona, the best in the world. This can be put into question, because many consider him not to be the best player on his team, second to Ronaldinho, the left-attacking midfielder for Barcelona. Ronaldinho has all the footwork and moves down, but does he care. Shortly before he had written the article concerning Messi, Ball considered Ronaldinho to be a primadonna. In the caption of a picture, Ball said ‘Henry is yet to hit top form and Ronaldinho may be more concerned about his ponytail.’

Ronaldinho and Henry That brings up the question, is Messi really the best in the world? I dont think so just yet, at a mere 19 years of age, i think in a year or two, he will be the best. There are still players out there to consider like Kaka, the center-attacking midfielder for AC Milan, and Cristiano Ronaldo, the right midfielder for Manchester United. My top three at the moment, not in order, would be Crististiano Ronaldo, Kaka, and Ronaldinho. Ronaldinho has to realize that at 26 years old, he may not be one of the best for long, with many young players on the rise.
