Reading For Touchdowns!
In Third Grade, we have a special reading activity called “Reading For Touchdowns”! We encourage the boys to begin to read independently more often this year, and this activity is a great way to motivate them! The boys must read chapter books in order to complete this activity. Once each boy has finished reading a chapter book, he may write a book report and bring it in to school. He then can move his football 10 yards on our special football field to move closer to scoring a touchdown! After reading 10 books and completing 10 book reports, he will score a touchdown and earn something special for his class!

If your son wants to try a different type of book report for a different genre of book, feel free to download any of these book reports as well. These also count towards our Reading for Touchdowns program!
